Jason and I are friends with an older couple, and when I say older, I mean they are old enough to be our grandparents. Anyway, Jason stopped by there yesterday afternoon and came home with a bag of goodies. The “grandmother” knew that I was starting a collection of white dishes, and she had some serving pieces that she wasn’t using. When Jason told me he had some white dishes for me, I assumed he meant some plain old white dishes. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found these beauties!
They are a bone color with a decorative border and the are beautiful!! Each piece sits in its very own stand and the stand has places for fuel cans. I can picture using these to keep food warm, or just to have them sit of the tabletop for a more decorative look. I’m so excited over these! I need to have a small dinner party so I can put them to good use.
Although not the same, they look similar to my everyday dishes, so I think the effect will be nice when they are all used together.

How SWEET of her to give these beautiful dishes. I got some like these for Christmas this year...I had told the hubs that I needed some for all those tailgate parties that we in the fall...love the edge on yours...soooo pretty! Hope you have a FUN weekend...try to stay WARM in this COLD COLD weather!
