I haven't blogged that much lately, but not a whole lot is going on at the ole' decor homefront right now. I am starting to work on a few organization projects that I hope to post about before long. Also, I ordered some sage green draw up blinds from overstock.com for my bathroom to replace the AWFUL plastic blinds that are in there right now. I'll be sure to post photos once Mr. Domesticated has installed the rod for me. Let's see how long that takes! :-)

Hello! I just found your post through another site. My husband and I just bought our first home and well I am trying to figure out the decorating part! It's hard to determine the style...I know what I DON'T want, but not sure about what I want...In the past i've always end up with what I call tutti fruity style, you know? a mix of stuff that really doesn't look nice!
ReplyDeleteHow big is your house? This is another thing that I've had to consider...our little rambler is only 940 sq, and the floor plan is a little challenging so I gotta look for furniture and other decorative items that are mostly on the small, slim, not so bulky type. I also can't bring in a whole lot because it looks cluttered almost immediately but I don't know how to balance things....ufff this is definetely a learning experience!
